Hunted a small contest over the weekend and it came with some miserable weather but I had some good team mates and we hunted through most of it and managed to call some dogs and put 7 on the truck bed!

Thanks guys and usually in these contests they use some sort of special mouth blocks to eliminate the chance of someone hunting before the official start time.... Within a few hours of killing a coyote you would not be able to insert such a block into the mouth do to rigamortus setting in!

We were using a Foxpro E-caller the Fusion to be exact
And normally I would not have expected to take first place with 7 coyotes but the weather made it tough and somehow we did take 1st place!

Would you mind to tell us your calling sequence and were you using coyote distress calls? Or rabbit? Nice load of yokes regardless!

Most of these came into prey distress on the FoxPro I believe lightning jack was the preferred sound of the weekend!

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
