Nice,it looks like you like fisher trapping, always tough to see them go,but it's nice to pay for the gas,i had 2000 in gas this year and 3500 in fur so I might break even with traps, equipment ,lure, bait making waxed dirt etc.I don't make money waterfowl hunting or deer hunting, but i'm not going to stop doing them either.

I know Rick, it's hard to justify a month in the woods plus expenses to loose money but it's in my DNA

Thankyou Chris I have always looked at each skin as a piece of art, a reflection of who I am!

Nice work. You must have a very healthy fisher population.

Yes, we are fortunate to have a healthy population of most furbearer here, the hard part however is finding accessible land to set and of course having to lug cages around!

Man that's a nice lot of fur right there! Great job....Are you guys only allowed to use box traps?

Keep your boots dry and your powder too.

I remember when a fur check was reality.....now I'm just trapping for the love of it.

Best Regards,

JT

Yes JT our only method of harvest is cage traps, not fantastic but after awhile you get to where you can run quite a few!

That's incredible Guy, I just looked at your game laws, WOW! Even greater accomplishment, congrats on a really nice year.

Good work and a nice season. If cages are the main or only real harvest method how are you avoiding coons to get that many fishers?
