Good to know. I'm meeting with him on Friday. I had two wardens show up yesterday to tag my cat but its mouth was frozen shut and couldn't get the incisor tooth and tissue sample. Working on that right now.

A hooped hide is another less expensive option. It looks like Muskrat on here makes some nice ones and will make one using your tanned pelt.

I might go that route. I contacted them just a few days ago about hooping a beaver for me. I like the looks of their work. Thanks for the suggestion.

He doesnt have the wow factor some of the Kansas cats do.

I haven't got back yet. Four or five more months if he is on schedule. Nothing against the other taxidermist but I wish I would have known about this kid sooner. Likeable young guy to boot.
