Don't try making your living as a fortune teller, T7.
Jim I remember you whining about how immoral it was that Bush was waterboarding at the time. You need to quit the double standards, James.

Has there ever been a president, democrat or republican, that was more anti-gun ownership than Obama? I can't think of any. Is this considered anti-gun? Reagan said; "I'm a member of the NRA. And my position on the right to bear arms is well known. But I support the Brady bill and I urge the Congress to enact it without delay. It's just plain common sense that there be a waiting period [7 days] to allow local law enforcement officials to conduct background checks on those who wish to buy a handgun."From On The Issues. Not one of your Republican party you always mention? Wish you'd explain who that party is that left you sometime.

You didn't read the question very well. I'll try to condense it for you: Was there ever a president MORE anti-gun than Obama? Are you saying Reagan was more anti-gun than Obama? I don't think a year went by that Obama wasn't trying to reduce gun ownership. Why during the Obama years do you think people were buying up all the ammo they could?

During his first term, Obama didn't call for any major new restrictions on guns or gun owners. Instead, he urged authorities to enforce the state and federal laws already on the books. In fact, Obama signed only two major laws that address how guns are carried in America, and both actually expand the rights of gun owners. One of the laws allows gun owners to carry weapons in national parks; that law took effect in February 2012 and replaced President Ronald Reagan's policy that required guns to be locked in glove compartments of trunks of cars that enter national parks. Another gun law signed by Obama allows Amtrak passengers to carry guns in checked baggage, a move that reversed a measure put in place after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. https://www.thoughtco.com/obama-gun-laws-passed-by-congress-3367595

Just offering an answer to the question. Has there ever been a president, democrat or republican, that was more anti-gun ownership than Obama? I can't think of any.

And He did support an assault-weapons ban and even joined two other former presidents in a letter to a major newspaper urging congressional approval of a ban. Yes it is

1/02/2016 Obama plans a meeting with Loretta Lynch executive action on new stiffer gun control measures. Since republicans controlled the house and senate, it went nowhere.
After shooting in Connecticut, Obama called for new gun laws which was once again stopped by the republicans.
He made it known that he was anti-gun ownership, but knew with no control over the house or senate he was fighting a losing battle in his second term.
I do give him credit for taking out binLaden. That was a risky move on his part.

I voted for every republican that ran for president except MIT. I regret giving a second one to the GWBush/dick pair though. And I don't regret the one I gave Obama for his second term. I can't see me voting for trump again nor one of the current dems, unless maybe Tulsi somehow makes it. I don't know enough about her to say for sure though.
Maybe the Lincoln project will convince a good republican to run?
...and why would I put somebody on ignore? My feelings never get hurt in any way by even the most silly posts or name calling that some practice so often. I'm not of those who get triggered by a post that disagrees with my position.

Taking down the fence and standing in the no gun zone armed would have put a little fear in politicians I agree. Thats the whole point of doing it.
Government should fear the governed
