I had a DACA strawberry picker a few years ago. She got a full ride scholarship to Princeton, is graduating early there, top 1% of her class with another scholarship for her masters at Oxford. Not because of her minority status but because of her brain.

Pretty good example of the American dream being played out.

Are you sure? I'd like to see what credentials she had to get into Princeton in the first place. It's all speculation with no proof. The only proof we have is that these universities have quotas they strive to fill for all demographics, including illegals. And that means that even if they can't find enough illegals with high enough credentials, they put them in the school anyway so they hit their quota... and all on the taxpayer's dollars.

I read the article in the Princeton paper forwarded to me by a mutual friend. You don't graduate early, top 1% of your class in an ivy league school by not being bright and worthy. She also graduated a year early from the same high school I attended 45 years ago with 4.00 GPA. I was one of several, including her high school teachers, who wrote her a letter of recommendation when she applied for the Princeton scholarship.

Whether it helped or not that she was a minority (when she first applied) is beside the point for me. She proved her worthiness by qualifying and receiving the top honor you can receive scholastically at Princeton.
