I've been harping on the 'green' aspect of fur for years now.

Using "their" terminology against them is a terrific tactic. Being able to point out that we CHOOSE to use a SUSTAINABLE product puts the discussion in terms that they love and can be extremely effective.

It reminds me of the one time Alaska Trappers Assc had a booth at the local Earth Day celebration at the Fairgrounds in Fairbanks. Joe Dart and I sat at the ATA table under a big banner that read: "Natural Fur: The Environmentally Sound Choice!"

The earth muffins flocked to our table to discuss. I think we changed some minds that day!

Keep up the Good Fight,

Pete

Our industry should have been pushing this concept years ago. Wild fur especially, green, free range, organic, sustainable, etc.

I agree. I think we would have the wind at our backs if we had. Everyone understands the "green" concept these days.

Trapping is green, it is sustainable and I couldn't agree with Pete's post more.
