Mark, I had mopeds before the Cushmans! Notice I made that plural, I went through a couple before I graduated to Cushmans. The scooters were tough and built like a tank. They were built up in Lincoln Ne, just up the street! grin

Get a fat tire and ride that. The health benefits would be like getting a bonus.

Careful with those cheap Chinese scooters , they break down a lot. I grabbed this one off a kid for $200.

The kick start broke shortly after he bought it. I took out the gear out from the side cover and welded it back up. [Linked Image]
He was able to use it without the kick starter , but then the electric start failed , starter relay went. That is when I bought it. Got a new relay for it online. If you notice , it only had 373 km , about 231 miles. He paid $600+ for it. After I fixed it , I sold it sorta cheap to a friend for $400. The scooter was almost mint , no scratches , never dropped. These scooters only last about a year or so. Most are built with the GY6 engine , Chinese clone of an older Honda design.

Yeah, my bad, I didn't mean the rice grinder, the hitch carrier is really cool. Easy on and off and with the through hitch I could still use my skinner.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Boy I feel better. I thought maybe my judgment was slipping. I saw some of those fat tire motor bikes on a auction. I kind of wish I would have bought one now. I haven't seen any for a while. It seems like they were made by Coleman.
