They have been off the endangered list since 2005 and they have been trying to open a season for 2 years with no success. I have found tracks for them In Multiple areas in the 180 acres behind our place. With our last snow. Fingers crossed. I grew up in Washington state and if I ever get back there my cat will be the cougar! My hubby n I were stalked by one when we went up on the mountain once and I’d love to even the odds. Lol. New trapper! Really excited to learn!
