I don’t worry about the whole chain and drag I just keep the rust off if needed, don’t waste wax on the whole rig.

I don’t swivel at the drag either it seems kind of useless the swivels at the trap will most likely be doing any swiveling after the drag hooks up and the chain is wrapped up.

I don’t do anything to my drags. They do have a swivel at the drag but only because I have swivels and they make it easy to attach the chain to the drag.
