Does your state have graduated cost lifetime licenses? NC is adding lifetime trapping licenses this year. I gave my son one and also my grandson got one when he was born.

Tennessee does and we bought both our kids them when they were under 4, the oldest is 23 now and the youngest is 16 . So I say we got our money worth’s . The only thing they have to buy is a federal duck stamp . I think when we got them they was 200 if they was under 4 .

No. Not in Indiana. They do have a senior fishing for a discount I believe. I bought my comprehensive hunting and fishing with my high school graduation money. My mom was mad at first but I figured over the last 23 years it has been the best investment I made. I definitely broke even quicker than 6 yrs of college expense. They did away with them a short time later. What blows my mind is that it did not include trapping. I still have to purchase this yet includes all other of the state stamps.

Nope. Probably never will. I would get one if they did though.

We have them. I plan on getting them for my sons when they turn 16.

Ohio is graduated. Though the difference between youth and adult is 30$. Senior lifetime is basically 85 bucks.

In Minnesota we do have lifetime hunting/fishing licenses but not trapping. The best part about the lifetime license is that if you move out of state you still get your license at no cost every year. As soon as I get back to work and start making some money I am buying $2,000 worth of lifetime licenses because I am hoping to get out of this messed up high taxed state in the near future.

Did not realize that, Thanks! I am not much of a trapper if we are being honest but it will be nice to be able to come "home" and trap.

In Alaska I'm not aware of a graduated lifetime license.

Residents under the age of 18 do not need to purchase a hunting, sport fishing, or trapping license.

Residents over the age of 60 get free hunting, sport fishing, and trapping licenses.

I hope that applies to residents and non-residents.

Residents only and for a 100% disability. Members of the military serve our country not just their state of residency. That law should be changed.

I see they are $300 and I'll be getting mine. I'm assuming $300 for all ages. NC usually has discounts for lifetimes of 1years old, 1-11 yrs, then full price for 11 and up.

I would NEVER purchase a lifetime license.

The way my luck runs, I would buy it and drop dead the next day !!! laugh
