They're quite profitable when you pull out the guard hair and sell em for about 15 bucks an ounce on average
And they cam be a pain in more waya than one.lol
Jerry sells the hair and carcassea in Wyoming. He doesn't fool with the quills because they break easy and he said heck with em.
IF IDIOTS GREW ON TREES THIS PLACE WOULD BE AN ORCHARD !

I want to skin and tan one. Should make a good conversation piece as a bar stool cover.

They have very thin skin. I skinned one and ripped it while fleshing.
Eh...wot?

They cause problems if they are dead or alive I seen red squirrels that got into a cape and ended up getting covered in quills.

Man, I want the quills so bad. They are kinda spendy! I bead as well and want to add these to some of my tanned hide projects! Lolpretty bummed they don’t have them here in Indiana. Very pretty though.

More than likely it'll hang on the wall. I just think there're cool critters. Saw a couple of them alongside the road this summer eating pink fiberglass insulation.

Every coyote i have skinned this year has had quills in them, i should say my finger has found quills lol. We don't even dump them in dead pits here they get pulled out by critters and stung out all over the pastures. Big deep coulee's by them no hunting and trapping ranches are good dump site's. Sure wouldn't want to be a culvert cleaner in them areas lol
