This coyote was shot in a group hunt about a mile from my brothers a couple miles north of Zumbro Falls MN Weight confirmed DNR 75 # 80% coyote 20% gray wolf Guess it could have been a bit of trouble if it was more wolf

It did not take much wolf blood to make it a much bigger coyote.

The wolf huggers will be all over that claiming a new rare subspecies and call for a trapping ban on all coyotes and wolves to protect it.

Yep!

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

If it was 50% wolf and 50% coyote in States not open to wolf hunting, would it be illegal to kill one?

I'm pretty curious as to how it gets to be 80% coyote and 20% wolf? If a wolf and a coyote have a puppy that's 50%? Then that Coy wolf has puppies with another coyote. Wouldn't that make it 25%?

From what I understand different pups can carry different percentages of wolf genes.Im no expert just what I have read and seen on tv.

The word "C.YW..F" uttered from the mouth of any trapper, is doing

a dis-service to all hunting, and trapping.

This is pure anti-hunting, anti-trapping propaganda designed to promote trapping and hunting bans

and this word should NEVER be used to describe any type of K-9.

Looks to me like the coyote was trying a little harder than the wolf.
