Once the Red Flag law goes into affect, and it will, those officers will show up at night in riot gear to Red Flag that guy, arrest him and confiscate all of his firearms. Probably "Randy Weaver" his wife, kid, and dog while they're at it.

I was thinking a very similar thing. Spent the better part of on hour looking over a govt building one time. I have poured concrete for the past 25 years in some form or fashion and was intrigued by the concrete beams and sealing/floor of the next level up. Even looked over the concrete stairs and other fixtures really well. Sure am glad no one noticed or the fuzz may have harassed me to. I would have probably even knocked on them pillars had someone told me they was old trees covered in plaster. Just not a good enough reason to harass a US citizen IMO.

Are they going to come after everybody taking a picture of a Government building or statue? Good way to start disarming the public.

Nuisance wildlife, I'm always eyeballing looking for bats or squirrels in public buildings.

That would be an awesome strategy for next 50,000 rally goers to do while we're there next time. Everybody knock on pillars and take suspicious pictures.

Yep, I know a welder that does the same thing on metal structure. It is just what we do.

I think it was a legitimate interview but after about 3 minutes it seemed obvious that this guy had no ill intent. The interviewing officer stood there and listened way too long, but it also showed the gentleman that the officer respected this gentleman's opinions.
