Those of you that left your subscriptions run out are missing some interesting articles. I have gotten the magazine for many years now and I for one am glad I still get it. I feel the magazine has been much better lately. In the current issue there is a real interesting article by Jack Spencer, Jr. It deals with using decoys in trapping. There are several other excellent articles in the February issue.

it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I would like to hear thoughts on the Jack Spencer article about using decoys in trapping.

That was a great article mole! Pig castraters should always be kept as sharp as possible for best results. I started using your sharpening method, and my, what a difference. grin

Its still worth getting , Jim Spencers still keeping it alive.
I know they badly need more writers but all the trapping mags do including FFG.

I agree, I had to use my magnifying glass to read the association news.

Nittany, I read the article you're talking about. But I don't think in PA we could use the Crow decoy.
Good idea though, and I have been thinking about something different for bobcat season next year. I know cages are not the purrrrfured method for cats in PA, but it's worth a shot.

Butcher, let the editor know about the small print, I bet you are not the only one having the problem.

I didn't let mine run out, they lost my check, AGAIN, and canx me out for like 3-4 time, so I'm done with them.

Hadn't got one in a long long time, hope it's not my co worker writing the article, lol.

He's been dabbling around with 'decoys'.

Good to hear Jim Spencer is still in circulation, he's a good man.

I still receive the TPC along with several other trapping related magazines. Yes there are some very good trapping articles in several of the magazines as of late. There are also articles on other topics which is not surprising when we realize the current fur markets for most species.
