That right there is a V wad. Close cousin to the spit wad. Known to be deadly in close quarter combat, but not nearly as gross. In my experience it was how tight you could roll the notebook paper. Also didnt hurt to have some thicker rubber bands.

That was an expellable offense? Yikes. My buddy and i would put bent out staples into the ends of small paper airplanes made out of drafting paper. We'd chuck them at each other like darts. It was only a hit if you drew blood or got it to stick in the skin.

Not so much funny as true.

My favorite paper to use was either printer or sketchbook because it's much thicker. Did you ever turn the V wad into a spit wad? I did.

Right now there are at least a handful of readers here silently saying, "Dang, I bet that would work . . . "
