I had a draw station that drifted over during the last storm but a skunk had dug a tunnel through the snow I snared a yote before that but now no action except for the skunk action. I followed the tracks to a den in dirt bank near by so next trip I grabbed a pair of 110s, I wanted to use Belisles 110s but found a old beefy Victor.
I set the Belisle on the den opening then the Victor on the tunnel to the buried carcass, today the old Victor had a larger skunk DOA no problem not much of a fight if any. Did not know if it would even hold a larger Pepe in a 110 but it did no problem.

I'm sure, Law Dog, that you've caught a metric truckload more striped skunks than I. My experience with 110s for Pepe is running about 50/50 on quick dispatch on about 70 skunks, so I don't use them at all any more.I'm glad, in this case, that it seemed to work perfectly. WTG!

I have a huge box of #10 tin cans been thinking about long lining skunks using them like 220 bucket set ups. Just not sure how the coons will mess with them.

I stood next to the skunk as the catch had so little impact on the area, I was checking the snares in the area then looked down and there it was nothing tore up.

I usually use a 120. I've got block building with a concrete floor that has a den under it. Every winter it's good for 3 or 4 skunks and a few grinners and the odd groundhog.

120 with 2 springs is soooooo much work! LOL J/K I dug through my 120s just wanted to see what a 110 would do. When I run the #10 cans I will go with the 120s as much as I can but the 110 Belisle or a strong Victor will do in a pinch it looks like. The nice thing about the 120 traps is they will lock in the slots better that I cut in the cans.

I use 120's in route tubes, but still prefer a 160. Good to know a 110 will work in a pinch.
Let me sugar coat this
