I save all my cat meat for a friend that makes cat verde with it, I haven't tried it. I did however eat a BBQ'd monkey leg in the Philippines, dude told me it was chicken and I was really drunk. I told my buddies about this really good chicken leg and they said, didn't the leg seem kinda big ? I was still kinda new to the Subic Bay life style.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

I was still kinda new to the Subic Bay life style. sold it all the time in the 70"s in Subic...monkey on a stick. Monkeys are protected now,not too many left only on base about 10 on the fence

In the neatherlands, only mares and stallions survive. All geldings are table fare after 2 yrs. of age. Horses diet is cleaner than free range chicken ! ! !

Around 60,000 head of horses each year are shipped from the States to slaughter houses in Old Mexico. I think most of the meat is shipped to the EU for consumption. Somebody is using it. If in Mexico I would be hesitant about ordering any kind of steak if I were expecting it to be beef.
