I think you have to buy plants. The tomato hybrid you want is sterile

I think you have to buy plants. The tomato hybrid you want is sterile you can buy hybrid seeds what you can't do is save the seeds from the tomato and expect the same thing next year. if you have the 2 varieties that are combined to make Flor-America VF and as they mature pre blossom you move them into an enclosure usually a frame with insect netting over it then manually cross pollinate , the seeds from those fruit are the hybrid seeds cooper was the only place I found that listed them http://www.airag.com/Fireants/More2/catalog/floramerica-hybrid-tomato-p483.html they are a mid size tomato at 7-8 oz fruit , might I suggest a WI55 Wisconsin 55 is a medium fruit early slicer very good eating and you can save the seeds as long as you keep your other tomato plants far enough away.

Sounds like a pretty common type. You could find literally hundreds (maybe thousands) very similar.
I've thought about doing a trappers tomato bed with beaver lodge, coyote, bobcat, victor and any other varieties that could be trapper related.

I hire out the web site. I'm a trapper/store keeper, becoming more and more a store keeper as a I get older. BET most store keepers have a puter person.

the older hybrids have fallen off in favor of new hybrids with traits that are more desired. you can only hand pollinate so many plants in a season and keeping an old hybrid variety going takes work every 2-3 years at least.
if it wasn't a hybrid I would direct you to the Seed Savers Exchange it is a store and a network of heirloom growers they have a catalog of member growers and what varieties they have for sale. the bonus is you might find a grower who has a variety that has been grown in soil and season very close to your own.
if you can't grow the exact tomato I would find something very similar but heirloom and grow that and save the seeds from year to year and name it after your friend.
tomato seed saving is quite easy , a mason jar and a coffee filter the only tools really
