No one mentioned bears. Ours most of the time have shot and 22 bullets in them......jk

No one mentioned bears. Ours most of the time have shot and 22 bullets in them......jk There are better guns to kill a beer with than a 22. What are some people trying to do shooting a bear with a 22?????

I've skinned many critters (beaver, yotes, & coons) with pellets, buckshot, or bullets in them. I cant tell you how many boar coons I've skinned with a butt full of #2 s. I save what pellets I can and reload them  LOL. I save and reuse shot from waterfowl. Usually drop one or two "experienced" pieces on top of the shot column to lead the way.

cant remember any beavers with bullets in them but Ive skinned a few lynx with 22 bullets between the body and hide. Got a wolf with a couple rounds of bird shot in it a couple years ago.

I don't see how duck hunters shooting beavers is ethical even if they do cause damage. Very seldom do they kill the beaver, mostly just maim them..I don't know how many half blind beaver I have caught from shotgun pellets. Completely agree. Unethical to shoot beaver with a shotgun or any round that won't kill them. I don't want to see any animal I try to harvest suffer. Including coyotes, wolves and beavers.
