Jehu (Hebrew: יֵהוּא Yehu, meaning "Yahu is He"; Akkadian: Ia-ú-a; Latin: Iehu) was the tenth king of the northern Kingdom of Israel since Jeroboam I, noted for exterminating the house of Ahab. He was the son of Jehoshaphat,[1] grandson of Nimshi, and possibly great-grandson of Omri.[2] His reign lasted for 28 years.

NEW YORK—Comparisons have already been made between President Donald Trump and King Cyrus, an idol-worshipper who lived 2,500 years ago, says author and national radio host Dr. Michael Brown.

Yet, Brown added, Isaiah prophesied that God would use Cyrus to restore the Judean exiles and rebuild Jerusalem, which he did (see Isaiah 44-45).

“In similar ways, evangelical leaders have suggested that Trump, who was hardly a Christian, would be used to help their cause,” said Brown, author of the soon-to-be-released book, “Jezebel’s War with America: The Plot to Destroy Our Country and What We Can Do to Turn the Tide.” “But is there another biblical king to whom Trump can also be compared, namely King Jehu?”

Several, including Joel Pollak, an Orthodox Jew and senior editor for Breitbart.com, and New York Times best-selling author Jonathan Cahn, have made parallels between Trump and Jehu. For example, both leaders were outsiders who wanted to rid their nations of corruption through unconventional methods. Both were fighters, and neither were politicians, nor did they live godly lives. And both wanted to shake up the status quo.

“Trump, then, would be reminiscent of a Jehu-like figure,” Brown said. “He was the man who defeated Hillary Clinton, who was a Jezebel-type figure, being a pioneer feminist who stood against godly values. As Jonathan Cahn pointed out, Jehu the warrior went head to head against the former First Lady—Jezebel. Then there was a showdown. So, too, with Trump and Hillary.”

In “Jezebel’s War with America,” out Aug. 6, Brown introduces readers to Jezebel—the most wicked woman in the Bible—and outlines how her spirit is alive today—and waging a war against America and President Trump.

For example, Brown noted this headline from December 21, 2018: “Witchcraft moves to the mainstream in America as Christianity declines—and has Trump in its sights.” Jezebel was also associated with witchcraft and sorcery in the Bible, Brown added.

“Trump’s Supreme Court appointees could threaten Roe v. Wade, which is one of Jezebel’s most carefully guided prizes,” Brown said. “And these women will fight and scratch and claw to keep their ‘right’ to abort. A man like Trump, for better or worse, brings an angry, even hysterical, radical feminist spirit to the surface. And that is why Jezebel is so enraged. Her agenda is being threatened. She is confronting her Jehu again.

“To be sure, there is a lot of female anger toward Trump because of his ugly, sexist past, including both alleged actions and recorded comments,” Brown continued. “This is totally understandable, also causing many of these women to ask how any evangelical Christian could vote for him, support him or work for him. But the truth be told, some of the female anger toward Trump—really, it is outright rage—is due to the fact that he has become a pro-life champion, one of the more surprising developments in political memory. He is standing for God’s cause, just as Jehu did.”

“Jezebel’s War with America” focuses on the fact that the spirit of the biblical figure Jezebel is at work today, through a fascination with witchcraft and sorcery, radical feminism coupled with the extreme pro-abortion movement, along with other spiritual and cultural forces in an attempt destroy America. Brown’s eye-opening book not only unveils a satanic plot, beginning with an all-out assault on the church, but it will equip every believer with tools to defeat the enemy in their own personal lives as well as in the nation.

“To be sure, the Trump-Jehu and Hillary-Jezebel parallels are nothing more than comparisons,” Brown wrote in a recent column. “Hillary Clinton is hardly the same as Jezebel, a woman who actually slaughtered the prophets of Israel. What does seem clear is this—and this holds true whether you love Trump or loathe him: An alpha male leader like Donald Trump will come into direct conflict with the radical, feminist spirit, the spirit of Jezebel. It cannot be avoided. In short, the Trump candidacy, followed by the Trump presidency, has brought the worst of radical feminism to the surface. In that sense, it has caused Jezebel to come out of the shadows and to the forefront.

“Trump is a hated man, especially among liberal women,” Brown added. “To them, he is the ultimate example of a powerful, sexist, abusive male. That’s why, at a massive women’s march immediately after Trump came into office, Madonna openly expressed her desire to blow up the White House. Later that same year, comedienne Kathy Griffin held up the bloodied likeness of the president’s decapitated head. And month by month, witches have gathered to curse and hex him. Shades of the spirit of Jezebel!”

If Emperor Constantine and the Catholics hadn't left the story of Adams first wife, Lilith, out of your bible, would you be talking about her as the epitome of feminism? After all its why she became the mother of all demons and kept her immortality while Adam was consigned to mortality. I can picture Hillary in that role except that Lilith is supposed to be the most beautiful woman that has ever lived.

I’m with you, run. Unfortunately, most of us bible-readers view prophecy as fortune-telling, but its primary intention throughout Jewish history was, instead, truth-telling – usually by employing the use of strange symbolic images and archetypes. If I were to place us modern American Christians anywhere in the story of the Hebrew bible, I’d say we’re with Daniel in the middle of Babylon. We can do as Nebuchadnezzar does and elevate our own national/political identity to the heavens and give it the divine stamp of approval, or we can follow Daniel’s lead and give our allegiance to the Lord alone, even as we work for the good of Babylon.
