The first movie I remember seeing him in as a kid was 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea...

I remember his character, Ned Land, playing the turtle shell banjo and singing with a seal. Strange, the goofy stuff you remember. Lol

One of my favorites of his, is last train from gun hill! Not the best movie ever, but a very touching story line! RIP Kirk, youre one of the last, great actors of the golden age.

When I was a kid he and Burt Lancaster were together in many movies. Both good actors and Douglas enjoyed a much longer life.
