I shoot a CVA Optima. Nice to shoot and very accurate out to 150 yards with the Konus scope it came with. Bought it from Cabelas about 8 years ago I think. 100 grains of 777 under a 250 gr SST with a Remington Kleanbore primer, puts a hurting on ‘em around here.

An in-Line..........no comment. Why do they call them a muzzle loader when you don't load them from the muzzle? Once you experience a real black powder rifle, you'll never go back to an inline.

I have several knights. My favorite knight is a 45. I have several encores as well mainly with center fire barrels on them. I do have a 50 and a 45 for it. Need to test out the 45. My favorite and most accurate is a T/C omega 50 with a thumb hole stock.

inline muzzleloader - lost me right there, the only good reason to use a front loader is to carry on a tradition of "primitive'' rifles, if you want modern, I highly recommend .30-06 Springfield in bolt action. Not true in NY. Most here buy MZ to extend their hunting season. Northern zone units have a early mz season and many also have a week after rifle closes, and in lines are legal.

I’m shooting a smokeless muzzleloader myself. No more mess and no more cleanup.

Hey guys and gals, I'm looking to buy a new inline muzzleloader and I'm wanting to know the pros and cons and what you would recommend Thanks There's a forum like this one called Longrange Hunting. They have a muzzleloader subforum. That place will have a lot of info on modern muzzleloaders.
