Seems there is a bunch of assumptions being made...........or, you know, the badger was originally orphaned when an infant badgerlet, then taken to raise by a moma fox. These two now running together are actually brothers.....sheeeeesh! Pay attention people, can't you see they're related?

I've seen coyotes in prairie dog towns following a badger too. Prairie dogs pop out of a hole to escape the badger. I dont think the two just hang out and play but coyotes do take advantage of the stuff a badger pushes out
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Bill Austin, first control guy in Wyoming to make a coyote call, 1967, said the coyote will let badger go through the brush to flush the rabbit out, then eat it in front of poor short leg badger, he said seems badger been getting the short end of deal a lot lol

Your not from the west obviously and also reading more into this than is there !! It's certainly common to see them both in proximity in a Prairie dog town out here !!
Does that mean they shook hands and watch our for each other uhhmmm No lol
However if you know them both and how one is more opportunistic than the other, you soon come to the conclusion that Ole Wiley is much wiser than Mr. Badger LOL Yes I agree

If you knew anything about coyotes, coyote control you would have known this like I have known for years Known what? That they share the food? I call BS on that one.
