Actually I can't think of a Duke trap you couldn't take out of the box, adjust the pan/trigger if needed and go catch whatever animals the trap is designed to catch.


I should have chosen better wording and said the Duke 1.5 coil is the only Duke trap worthwile, with minimum out of the box work, for ME....IMO it's the one trap that the Duke team hit a home run with.

I know the others work too, but the Duke 1.5 coil is exceptional IMO.

Nah, don't be sorry at all, I wasn't clear enough with my original post... I'll also say Bill Duke has done a lot for trapping, we've all benefited from his endeavors.
