That's pretty interesting, normal "winter" activity here as far as I can see. But I saw a flock of robins while out and about yesterday.
Keep your boots dry and your powder too.
I remember when a fur check was reality.....now I'm just trapping for the love of it.

Yes. More so years back when buck doe ratio was different. I always thought natures way of spreading out the fawn crop drop times. As in, if they all dropped the same week and a flood hit. Got trail cam?

Deer work scrapes year round in certain spots. These type of scrapes have nothing to do with rutting behavior.

Deer work scrapes year round in certain spots. These type of scrapes have nothing to do with rutting behavior. exactly. a worked scrape does not meana doe is or even is close to estrus. deer work scrapes year round. no not everyscrape gets worked but it happens more than people realize.

Last year found a dead spotted fawn in flood water. In August, no late "rut"?
Last month on trail cam I saw what I "think" is it's twin. Runt with tiny forks. In the past I've seen runts grow into bruisers in a few years.
Defies internet science lol.( Sarc. from Dr, A days.)
I'm not Dr Science, just got caught in another yack session, think I'da learned by now. Carry on.
