I couldn't sleep last night so I watched a western at around midnights and got to thinking. All the good firewood got burnt by the Cattle technicians and indigenous people in the past. Just look at those camp fires. Not so much as a whiff of smoke and all nice and short pieces of wood and you never see anyone carrying a saw of hatchet. Firewood must have been dry and in the right length scattered all over the country in those days. They sure had it easy in them days compared to us now.

I think there must have been bacon bushes too. No matter how remote it is they can get a slab of bacon.

And they never ran out of whiskey!!! That would be nice.

you can tell a really cheap movie , typically modern military action movies when they reuse the same canyon in about every ambush scene and there are those same high tension wires in the sky , in what is supposed to be Afghanistan mountains.

I admit I have not been to Afghanistan but if it is supposed to be super remote Afghanistan will they really have high tension wire towers ?

revolvers are bad enough that they go 12+ rounds from the same gun without reloading

but when they go full auto , a 30rnd mag a 600rpm would last 3 seconds. 3 minutes of intense fire fight later they have used 2 magazines

hollywood doesn't want to accept the reality that cowboy fires were probably dried cow pies and horse apples

I do not not fell so bad, I am not the only one who picks the movie apart. Years ago movie " Brothers of the Wind " ??? about pack of yotes. They chased a WT Buck in velvet into patch of evergreen tree. When he came out the other side was in hard antler....... Leaves had even changed colors. ONLY I THE MOVIES !

Last couple times I went to one of them I fell asleep.Dont go to them any more.Been years.

Yeah I try and keep quiet at the theater , but at home my wife tells me to shut it she doesn't want to hear how it is wrong.

one of my favorites was her watching criminal minds on tv and the 870 pump 12ga shotguns were doing 3 shot burst and fired more than 9 rounds without reload on a 7+1 gun

Indians and cowboys burned it all.

And it only took one match to start a roaring fire.

I like it when they grab a shotgun and pump it,,then a little while later pump it again,,then,when they are actualy gonna shoot it,, its needs yet another pump.
