Quick story here. When I first started beaver trapping around eight years ago, I bought a new Neckler #700 fleshing knife. I used that sharp knife very carefully for the first couple of seasons. Then I was talked into switching over to the Neckler #600. The #600 was fine and I fleshed many beaver with that knife. This season, I was not able to locate my #600 knife and pulled out the old #700. I can not believe how easy it is to flesh a beaver with the #700. The #700 knife does all of the hard work with ease! Anyone else happy with the Neckler #700?

Does your Becker 700 have a beaver on it or a coon?
I could swear when they first come out the 600 had the coon and the 700 had a beaver, but the one's I see for sale now both have the coon on them.

I've never done a beaver with one, but did a few coon with a 700 awhile back. It was ok, but I didn't fall in love with it. Granted, a few coon probably isn't a fair test.

Very similar, only one has an l, and the other doesn't.
