Anybody run that part of the snake river much ?

Are there many logs/rocks to hit when running a boat with a propeller not a jet foot ?
Just wondering .

Not too far below Weiser are the headwaters of Brownlee Reservoir, so a prop is much more efficient than a jet unit. From the high pool level of Brownlee upstream, it's a fairly easy river to read and run upstream to the mouth of the Payette. Above that on the Snake, can be tricky depending on season and water levels.

I suspect there are others that have run that part of the river more recently than I, and can hopefully chime in.
