BP,I think the graders call them tick scars but I have never seen a tick on an otter here.
That said,I had never seen a tick on a beaver ever, until last spring I caught one that was loaded with engorged ticks. Then a week later another trapper here caught one same full of ticks, and he had never seen one in 50 years trapping.
Since the climate has been slowly getting warmer we are starting to see odd things out on the line.Like bluejays and long tail weasels-in the last 5 years, and never here before.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Was a loaded question. I used to have those graded section III and they called them tick bites. I know for a fact they're not tick bites and if you put them up fur out you can't tell there is anything wrong with them. Was always a pet peeve of mine when I shipped otter.

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!
