I do not , I have standardized on 308 for the most part.

I just don't have the need at this time to go past 1K

everything is a trade off 6.5cm is barrel life for range

The upside of the Creedmoor is that there are lots of 6.5mm bullets to pick from now.

If your not stuck on the Gibbs, PTG has 6.5-06 reamers on sale, 88 for premium pilot and 51 for a solid pilot.

I have a 260rem reamer I'd send ya too, but I totally understand wanting what ya want. I'm that way too !

I cant imagine why I would want to back up. I have some pet loads for it and my 25-06 has me spoiled.

No Creedmore but, I’m planning to get into a 6.5 PRC just as soon as I can. I think that the PRC launching a 140 grain accubond should make for a decent lightweight elk cartridge. As for the Creedmore, not opposed to it. Just wanted something a shade more.

I keep desperately hoping that one day someone will call me "Sir" without adding "please calm down" or "you're causing a scene."

Nope, don’t own one and am not in the market for one. I sold my .264 Win Mag several years ago and I’ve got a sportorized 6.5 x 55mm Swedish Mauser on consignment at a LGS. I’m thinking I need one of the new Winchester 94’s in 25-35.

Thank you Hippie but I am dead set on the Gibbs

Leftlane, pretty much any other 6.5 minus the Grendel will outshoot the Creedmoor because of its shortcomings in case capacity. But it was built to fit in a short action and there is not free lunch.

I understand ! wink

I ordered a reamer and a neck- throat reamer just to make an 8mm that isn't listed anywhere.

Nope no CM here. If I wanted a short action 6&1/2 I would build a 6.5x284.

The yote shooters and wanna be yote shooters are always dropping off yotes at my place. Many are shot with the cm. Many need a lot of needle and thread work. I see no reason I need one. My hornet, 22-250 and .243 get the job done just fine.

6.5 creedmore, my brother got one. i have tried it out for about 50 -60 rounds, i am not impressed, i want to minimize fur damage not try to blow a coyote in half. great long range, range gun. just not anything i need where i live. and i live in wide open flat prairie land. just another gimmick to sell guns in my opinion, which i have nothing against.

It sounds like a lot of guys wont take this opportunity to use this as an excuse for a new rifle. I for one never pass up a good excuse for a new gun. Yes no one needs a 6.5, but I figured I have to see what all the fuss is about. Haha I own a browning xbolt in the infamous creedmoor. I am guessing it will end up like most rifles I own. I will kill a deer or two with it, then spend it's time in the safe. I told my wife I need a proper antelope gun. The 243, 308, 270, 3006 or 7mm just dont fit the application perfectly. But hey if the need ever arises for a creedmoor, I will have one!

I don't have one as I am happy with the .243, 308 and trio of 30-06's that I own. Would gladly accept one as a banquet prize but do not specifically plan on buying one!

Exactly-I don't own one either-like the look and hype, but once you get into it-they truly shine at 600 plus which 98 % of the guys are not shooting at anyway.Shoot one caliber lots and you'll be great with it vs shooting a bunch of calibers and being mediocre.lOTS OF MARKETING HYPE WENT INTO THE CREEDMOOR! And it worked
