Yeppers! I fetched in a couple of days worth of wood myself, gonna hunker down with the hounds and watch movies.

Going to make sure I have enough coffee down here in the Frozen Tundra area.

Good luck staying warm Chris, lol. I mean with your modern stove. I'll be roughing it up here when it hits 28 below tonight, I believe.

I think I would have one just for cooking like this, lol, as well as my other heat sources. I've had a 250 gallon barrel of fuel oil …#2 diesel in the basement for years, and just use that furnace in the spring and fall when I am busy working or trapping.

The wind kicked up at 0120 last night and blew hard for a while. It slacked off to a 25-30 mph wind by daylight. The temp dropped until about noon. It is clear and wind dying out now. We will be lower than -20 tonight.

I sure wish this cold would last a while. Its been the most pathetic winter I have ever seen. Pretty much 3 months of freeze thaw spring like weather. Garbage for getting anything done outside, mud everywhere.

-14 here but it ain't the temp that's so bad, it's the relentless wind that's bothersome....
