There is quite awhile till the sale, and nothing will be posted to your account anyway. Yes, if you had your number, you could set up your account, but nothing will be posted till the last two or at best, three weeks before the sale. This computer stuff makes everybody crazy with wanting stuff immediately. Be patient, it takes a little time to grade an make catalogs and post it to your acct.

Yes to what Lee said, if you wait till the week before auction you will see what lot numbers your fur is in and may or may not get to watch the auction live dependent upon IT guys making it happen. Results usual post fast to your account after sale.

Technology I am old enough to remember selling fur by mail, bail it up in wool sacks send it off with a tag and wait for months no market news things have not changed much.

Did I hear correctly that FHA was working on a deal to use NAFAs auction facility for the March auction?

Makes me wonder if FHA will also borrow/purchase some of the NAFA technology as well. It seemed odd when the NAFA website reverted back to the old version. Maybe some conversion in progress?

Maybe the IT company repossessed the new version?

Fur Harvesters already handles ranch fur. They have offered ranch fox for 15-20 years.

The ranch mink offering used to be just a few pelts that were incidental catches from trappers. About 3 years ago, they expanded their offering of ranch mink to collections from Canadian ranches.

All fur brings in money from m commissions, so I doubt they will turn down ranch fur in the future.

As Namcy said, they have been handling just a couple ranchers that would not market their fur with nafa. I have personaly been to one rancher a couple times. We are a wild fur house predominately and will stay that way. No need to worry. FHA is conservatively run, none of the hoopla and showing off that the other guys did all the time.

If your in such a hurry, call Greg in Cambridge, Wi. He will get it for you. 608-423-4814. There won't be anything on the acct till things get graded and that is just the last couple weeks before the sale.
