They are still selling mine and paying down their debt at the bank according to their last press release. Either way you will not like the outcome and no you are never going to see it again. It would be criminal here in the states but I guess Canada is different somehow. Some will tell you another story like "I will still ship them fur". LLL BOHICA.

I have been told that the left over fur at NAFA will be sold (offered for sale?) at the FHA auction the end of March which MIGHT be held at the NAFA building in Toronto. Details of the joint sale are being worked out,

The shippers will receive the full value of what the pelts bring except for the standard NAFA commissions, which will go the law firm Handling the reorganization. The check will be issued by the trustee, not NAFA.

The courts have ruled that all pelts held at NAFA belong to the shippers and not being held as collateral against the NAFA debt.

That sounds good but I’m not going to hold my breath. Does anybody know if there is anyone is still in the office ? I’ve had a address change since last time I shipped and need to get the correct one to them just in case they want to mail me anything . I need some papers to start some burn piles I’ve got stacked up.

To the best of my knowledge, there is a core staff in the NAFA office. You could try calling.

Im sure buyer's are going to pay top dollar knowing those are NAFA pelts that they REALLY need to get moved out of the way as soon as possible. What are they going to do with pelts that don't sell, store them in a barn that's not climate controlled?

Plus those that have moved and their address has changed, all those checks are going to be returned, what are they going to do about that?

Biggest cluster in the history of the fur trade, at least ol Herman is living the good life now.

Anything still up there should be low quality. Except for coon. I dont see how that left over stuff can effect the coyote/cat market

Canadians got there money because they could sue for it if not . Being in another country there would be a lot of hoops to jump through plus the cost of legal fees etc.
