One day in the late 80s, Rhonda and I went to Fairbanks, and saw the start of the Yukon Quest. It was amazing to see all those dogs. I thought they'd have longer hair to protect them from the cold and saw that wasn't the case.

We also went to the dog pulls at the parking lot of the mall in North Pole. Some of those dogs could pull an amazing amount of weight.

They are crazy strong that's for sure the more I've worked with my retrievers the more I'm impressed .
