The President is the grand marshal for today's race.
And he wants a lap in the Beast.
I'll watch it for sure.

I'll be watching! Hendrick cars look pretty stout, but in the end the Joe Gibbs boys will probably come out on top.

Im going to the shooting range. I don't watch that crap.
like another said anti gun and cry babies. If it sprinkles they don't race! I raced that track in the pouring rain and it was on 2 wheels. Not 4 with all the safety stuff they have now.
I just never could get into it. THey just follow each other around till the end and then start to race.

At least Indy/Formula cars put on RAIN tires and go for.

I enjoy watching racing in all forms. And It’s been a long time, 19 years since I really watched a NASCAR race. I plan to watch today.

I like Truex for the win in the race today.

I don’t really have a favorite driver or team right now, since it has been forever. I just hope everyone has a good competitive race today.

I really quit watching after Earnhardt died, and I’ll add that I think the restrictor plates and some of the other rule changes took something away from the race.

Lately I’ve really had the itch to watch, so here I am.

Who is John Galt?

You don't rise to the occasion, you fall to the level of your training.

One of the cool things about plate racing is even the small underfunded teams have a real shot at winning.

I may watch the last 30 laps or so. It should be one car one owner. Other wise there is to much BS going on. I always stick with #4.

Which puts all the cars in a giant bunch and all it takes is one snot nosed rookie or less experienced driver to screw up and wreck out half the field. But hey it makes for tv ratings and thats all Nascar cares about. It needs to go back to the old days where the good teams had the good drivers and they were in the lead pack and the rest were down multiple laps and out of the way.

Dale Sr. Is probably rolling over in his grave the way Nascar has turned out. Although it sure would be great to hear his opinion of the mamby pamby pretty boys that drive today.

He should walk out with an AR across his chest. All the NASCAR higher ups would pass out. I guess having the President be the Grand Marshal is NASCARs way to try to gain TV viewers after their anti gun stance.

Half the field multiple laps down and out of the way would be pretty boring.
