Accurate and smooth and well made

Not a trapline gun IMO since 22 shorts or longs are good on yotes

I always thought the .22 mag over preformed at close range and under preformed at long range that would be out here in open country.

I've got a henry 22lr frontier. When it works it's an awesome accurate gun. Been back to the factory 3 times already. Kinda just gave up on it. Ftf,fte. Sits in the safe right next to the remington 7400 in the junk corner.

Don't do anything you don't want to explain to the paramedics. I do appreciate a good story tho.

I have 2 Henry's, a .22lr and a magnum. Both fail to eject almost every shot since new.

If it makes a track on this earth , I can catch it.

I have a Henry 22 mag and a Winchester 22 mag. They are hard to tell apart right down to the checkering. The Henry is smoother action, and the only thing I just don't like about it is there is no halfcock as the Winchester has. It works as it should and shoots good. I have no faults with the gun.

I have the same problem with my Henry 22 mag, wont eject after you fire a shot, which isn’t fun when hog hunting and they are 10 yards or closer to you.

I sold them for years. We did have to send some in for repair.
I dont care for the henrys because some of the "shiny" isnt metal its buffed synthetic something or other.

I bought the youth model for a trapping rifle in .22 LR the first thing I did was change out the plastic front barrel sight/clamp with a metal one I found on EBay then I put a skinner peep sight on the back. Love the gun took it turkey camp and let a young man put a brick of .22s through it, worked like a champ I like it so much I’m keeping it in good shape for the grandkids.
