In my younger yrs that was just a death sentence. Still is but sometimes a delayed sentence. Coma after crash at 50,,survived worst typhoon in asia at 56 and was saving lives not worrying. It wasn't long after that I retired early to just live life. Life is short you can't buy back time. I left a job I had for 35 year making 6 digits and loved what I was doing. It was one of the hardest things I ever had to do was leave something I loved but also my time was starting to be worth more to me then any pay check. Now I look back and wish I had done it sooner to get every minute I can doing what I want too while my health is still great. Give me a fish, I will eat for a day. Teach me to fish, I will eat for a lifetime

I said to the warrent officer in the truck "I'm too young to care how dangerous this all is" Right then and there I grew up a little. To a person ignorant of nature, his country stroll is a walk through a gallery filled with wonderful works of art with their faces turned to the wall

Had a heart attack at the age of 55 in 2006 died in the hospital was shocked back had a stent put in. More things to get done than there is time to do. Life in retrospect is funny. In some ways it all seems like it happened just yesterday and in another, like it was lifetimes ago.
