Turd Furgeson trapper T Joined: Nov 2017 Posts: 497 SD	I had one in 243, savage barrels are great, accutriggers are good, accustock is pretty decent too. If you’re getting it for a coyote rifle I would go for 22-250 or 243 before the 6.5 even if you’re not worried about fur, 22-250 be flatter shooting, less recoil and cheaper ammo.

You may need a couple of different bolt face bolts and a couple tools and headspace gauges but it can be several different calibers in one rifle. "Skin that smokewagon and see what happens"

Wiz trapper W Joined: Sep 2015 Posts: 182 Georgia	Can't go wrong with a Savage. They are probably the least frequently brought in rifle at my dad's gunsmith shop. Probably the best shooting gun out of the box too among all manufacturers. I've had a 110 chambered in .243 for 30 years. I used it for my groundhog gun. Shoots all brands and and loads from manufacturers about equal.
