This^^^ makes no sense

What was the movie that Jack Nicholson was in where he wanted to order a lettuce, cheese and tomato sandwich but the waitress said they didn't make that sandwich but did have a club sandwich. So he orders the club sandwich--- hold the bacon.... and she has a fit over it and refuses to take the order?

Looked at the movie clip just now. "Five easy pieces" Got my details wrong ...he wanted toast which they didn't have on the menu so he ordered a chicken salad sandwich hold the chicken, etc etc.

That part of the movie was filmed in Eugene, Oregon, about 15 miles from where I live.

Yep no toast bacon and eggs but you can order a bacon and egg sandwich to avoid the pending doom that would arise.

Look up that clip. It is a fun watch especially when he tells the waitress where she can put the chicken! LOL

They do have that rule for a reason and I'd bet the reason is that customers who have waited in line to go through the car wash won't have to wait more time in line at the vacuum becausee somebody only wanted to use the vacuums.

Not hypocrisy, good business practice.

Absolutely terrible business practice. He was willing to pay the full price of a car wash, just as others would do. Now they have most likely lost a future customer instead of making the same amount of money and using less of their resources. Foolish.

First mistake was choosing to live in the state of Washington!

A friend of mine went to a local place for lunch. He ordered soup that came in a bread bowl. He told them he can't use the bread bowl, just put it in a standard bowl, he would pay the same price. The owner refused. He never went back but now everyone in our small Town knows the owner does not care to accommodate customers. The place lasted less than a year. The new owners have a thriving business. Lesson learned - customer should be treated like they are always right.

Most people aren't willing to pay for a car wash if they only want to use the vacuum. Once for convience yes. Come back doubtful.

We went to eat at a restaurant. On the menu was Bison Burgers.
That sounded good to me. So, I told the waitress I'd like a Buffalo Burger.
She informed that that they didn't have buffalo burgers.
I asked her what she thought a bison burger was?
She said it was bison.
I asked her if she knew what a buffalo was and had she ever seen one?
She said she had seen a buffalo before, but had never seen a bison.
I ordered a BLT.

Hahaha. My guess is you really wanted a BLT. Otherwise you'd have ordered a Bison burger.

maybe they smelled your truck and keep you from using the sweepers via the requirement they have put in place.

Wife and I went to town to pick up groceries, decided to drive thru Sonic for a quick lunch. Pull up to speaker wife orders a chili cheese coney. Person on other end asks if she wants cheese on it. Wife looks at me with a "are they joking " look. She said yes I want cheese. Person response, "Do you want chili on it?" She says yes. Again,"Do you want that on a bun?" My wife," Sure, why not." Pull around, get the order, as we pull away I looked in the bag, they'd put regular fries in it. She ordered tots. Sheesh.

She's partly correct. American bison are technically not buffalo.

I ordered a glass of ice water with my sandwich at Jimmy Johns one day but was told they don't have glasses, only cups... I said a cup will be fine them.
