Well, last night had to go hands on with a 21 year male on meth. He put his hands on one of my officers and that's when I grabbed him and game on. That crap supercharges them and it was interesting for the first 10 seconds but Ole Sarge flipped him on his back and to the ground. We didn't arrest him, but instead took him to a hospital for treatment. Hopefully he can get the help he needs.
But in the meantime, Ole Sarge is feeling the effects. Certainly not as young as I once was. Where is my ibuprofen? LOL. Sarge

I am glad everything came out ok, I would put him in jail after coming out of the hospital. His cell would be 4ft by 4ft. if would give him time to think. JMO

Well, I just learned he will be going to jail for destruction of property at the hospital. He'll have plenty of time to think after all. Sarge

Props to a LEO doing their job. Especially dealing with someone hyped on certain drugs. I've heard how this can be a VERY dangerous situation due to their superhuman strength. Major kudos. You are an everyday hero that doesn't get the recognition you deserve.

The upper back, shoulders and arms took a beating. These young ones believe old man won't get after them. Several had to learn the hard way. To tell the truth, I'd rather forgo the wrestling match ( did enjoy it in High School) and let someone do it. But I can't seem to just stand by and do nothing. I take care of my Officers and they take care of me. I need a hot tub.

Thank you for doing what is a near-thankless job. Could you maybe use your taser more often to drop those guys and preserve your own health? I rather a criminal go to the hospital than a cop in need of a bandaid.

I am glad your OK. Meth is evil . Maybe society and his family will get lucky and jail time will convince him to stay away from that stuff.

I wish I knew what got people to try it. Even the addicts who give it up and survive are not the same person they were before addiction. Not just physically but also mentally.

I hope I am wrong, but Michigan has made pot legal. I have heard but do not know if it is true that most people that take hard drugs started with pot.

If had a few that when they got to jail had a shocked look on their face when they hit the light in the booking area saying, “Your a old man” I just look at them and say, “ yes I am.” LOL

FYI beating people with weapons is not a option on most cases unless it’s life and death. Tasers are sweet but same deal it needs to get to that level as the can be deadly on hyper active people.
