I had to get a tb test done so I could help at the school. First time going to the doc in almost 20 years. Had to fill out a paper for them. I don't remember seeing questions like that on there. I also didn't answer any of their questions that did not have to do with my health. Just skipped right over them. They didn't say anything about it either.

That is my point. Why is that even a possibility?

I refuse to enter anything digitally and my last appointment I had was with a new Dr. as my old one had left all I wrote on the forms was check chart or ask me in person. When the Dr. questioned why I wouldn't fill out the forms I just told him I have before and I was paying to see and talk to him so he should ask me that way he might actually listen to why I was there. They don't like it but I'm the one paying the bill I could care less if its policy or makes their job easier

Those questions would have been answered in a way that probably would have gotten me banned from the office.

I saw a doctor yesterday. They didn’t ask me such questions. My gender must have been obvious.

Seriously, to get ideas of how many and where binary/intersex people are located it’s necessary to do surveys such as this. Sometimes the results are head scratchers when everything is tabulated. Like, as in “Iowa has how many democrats?” You’ll only know if you ask and tabulate the data.

If I was a doctor and someone was being uppity ,i might skip a few procedures or leave a rag inside his guts.

American doctors take an oath to do no harm, plus they would get sued for that.

One of my professors this semester asked each of us to fill something like that out. Hey, at least for their sake you didn't have to fill that out there.

Here they have medical insurance.
And the no harm thing is limited to "on purpose",not by accident.
Lots of people harmed by doctors. If you knew the numbers it would blow you away.

My sister is a high school senior and had a teacher last year asked everyone their preferred pronouns. One kid said his was "your lord and savior". I thought she should have respected his wishes.
