Some folks here say that if the bad guys don't immediately obey any order from a policeman, the policeman is justified in killing said disobedient citizens immediately.

Sorry that happened to you. But, it must be a good feeling to know you still have the stuff, though.

I have no experience in fighting but wish I had the confidence to know I could defend myself or restrain someone if I had to. I've always wanted to take some kind of self-defense training but have never had the opportunity.

What from Christ that soul can sever,
Bound by everlasting bands?
None shall take thee
From the Strength of Israel's hands.

Keep up the good work. Hope you feel better soon.

Using a weapon results in tons of paperwork and others things. Sore is something i can deal with. Heck,i get more abuse from my wifes honey do list then uncoopertive people.
I teach my officers to try and descalate a sitution with verbal judo then hands on.
I'm not as fast as i once was with a hip toss, but i suppose fast enough. I tell um after its over that the grey hair is the new thirties. LOL
Thanks for all your kind words. Sarge

Only if the Taser gets good connection. I have seen them get good connections and persons on meth and PCP act as if nothing is happening. And fighting someone butt naked on PCP is not an easy task. Good job SGT. Glad you didn't get skinned up.

Way to go sarge-watch those freaks they bite and spit and have all kinds of infectious diseases.Worse than dispatching a rabid animal by hand.
I think I would have buzzed him up.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
