I've got a neighbor that is always in a bad mood. I mean we all get along just seems like never happy. I was gonna get one and put it in his mailbox to brighten his day up. He pulls up to his box and gets his mail through his open window.

I've always thought badgers were smarter than they let on. I used to catch a lot of them out on the prairie up in Wy. Cut almost all of them loose for quite a few years. Had a couple instances where I drive up to a badger standing standing in a trap, and no circle, no digging, no crater! I think, whats going on here! Get out of the truck, and the badger holds up his paw with the trap on, as if to show me why he is there. Gget my catch pole out, no resistance at all. I believe they had been through the drill before and were just waiting to get released! They are not as stupid as they act! Now before someone points out that the thread is about honey badgers, I just wanted to point out my experience with them.
