Bob, I trapped that particular 28,000 acre lease for 5 years, 4 of those years I caught a black yote in that same set location. The cat was caught two days after the last snow I can remember down here. I was standing at the set where the cat is and shot two coyotes with it snowing. I have always caught cats at that location using Sierra Mist on large rub post. Matter of fact, when Tim Caven came down here, I caught a quite large Tom right there on a rub set with a peeled beaver log about 6 foot long. Buried about 18" deep so they couldn't rub it and push it around. The female cat that we think was with the big Tom was just down the road around a corner is a cache set Tim made under a cedar tree.

jk, we have some of those as well. certain areas that I was fortunate to trap had great genetics for those really nice spots.
