Anybody have a desire to see it? I read all the dogs in the movie are animations. Thus, the film’s statement no dogs were injured in the movie.

The book was sure good and I like Harrison Ford.

The book triggers the imagination so much that I can't imagine how any movie, particularly with an animated dog, could be worth watching. I read that book multiple times as a kid 30 years ago and I can still picture what I imagined.

Ford is a hack like the rest of Hollywood hard to connect with a fake dog as it has no real talent.

Most of the trailer looked computer generated to me.

I loved the book too much to risk ruining the story by seeing the "movie."

I love the book. I wrote a book report on it in fifth, sixth, and seventh grades.
I think I have read all Jack London's books and stories.

The advertisements look like there's a lot of computer animated and I don't like that kind of thing, But, for this story, I'll risk seeing the movie. I hope they put nothing in it that is not in the book.

Harrison Ford is a bunny hugging liberal jerk. I probably would have went to the movie if it wasn't for that. Don't these people, and I'm talking about everybody that involved in the production of this film, realize they are losing money on his opinion alone.

You'd think that they did White Fang decent justice, Call of the Wild would be easy. Saw there previews when I saw Rise of Skywalker and wasn't impressed with them. Do need to read the book again.

A London book that would be more interesting and doable would be Sea Wolf.

Movies are never as good as the books are. All the computer generated stuff in modern movies doesnt appeal to me at all. So I probably wont watch it, well maybe in a few years when its free I may watch a bit. I really liked Michael Crichton's book Congo, so was all set when the movie came out. Man what a let down so much left out to fit in the time allowed and parts re-written made the movie terrible.

CGI isn't bad when done right.. it's just painful when done badly. It needs to blend in, the previews shown just aren't.

To me it all stands out like a sore thumb. If I wanted to watch a video game I would just watch my son play on his xbox.

My friend and I are taking our kids next week.

It looks to be a pretty tamed down version but still probably better than most other kids movies out there.

I quit watching movies years ago when they started to look like cartoons with all the computer stuff.
The James Bond movies werent bad.

London himself wasn't much different to be fair

Teddy Roosevelt and him had a fued going over how London was humanizing animals.

The big budget epics like The Lord of the Rings, especially Return of the King, the Marvel movies, the last Star Wars, etc you can't tell what's CGI and what isn't.

I must be in the minority then because most of it is very easy to spot.

Why would you want to go see it and support an anti is a pretty good question, is it not? This tool among countless others in Hollyweird use guns in their movies but condemn them for the public to have. Why is it that you will support him, which is supporting his agenda btw, and take your family to see their movies?

I was at a movie theater once that had a big, 3 dimensional, standee for 101 Dalmations. The dogs looked real to me at first glance, but somehow seemed fake too. I walked over closer and realised that somebody at Disney had airbrushed the genitals of off every dog you could have seen them on.

I read most of Jack London's books back in the Summer between 2nd and 3rd grade over 40 years ago. I got the books from the public library. I enjoyed his books a lot. "White Fang" and "Call of the Wild" were my favorites. I did not like "To Build A Fire", mainly because he was going to kill the dog, so he could cut it open and warm his hands in it. I always remember that book when I am field dressing a deer and feel the heat come out. I should read them again. I don't remember everything as well anymore.

I used to read a book or two a day, if I had to stay inside, throughout my childhood and well into my twenties. It's been years since I read a real book. I'll need reading glasses to do it now.

They are making movies now that use graphics to recreate actors that have long past ie James Dean and Marilyn Monroe lots cheaper.

London was just as bad as any lib in Ca. today, I read most of his stories before 5th grade and liked them, but what does a 10 year old know about life and commies? Most of the great writers of that time were leftists.

Geez guys. Let's lighten up on Han Solo.

Not everything in life has to be a political line in the sand. If you won't see a movie because of something Ford said, then you shouldn't see any movie because they all run through Hollywood in some form or fashion.

We went to see it last night.

Not nearly as rough as the book. After the first 10 minutes the CGI didnt bother me.

The girls liked it.

Overall its a good movie and deserves that PG rating. Good to watch without your grumpy old man glasses on.

Ford called Trump a SOB on live tv, he should be ashamed of himself.

Saw it last night. CG was lame in my opinion. But it is a good movie for kids to see. Wait for it to come out on video.

Old enough to know better, but dumb enough to still try.

Not for adults unless you are with a woman who loves dogs expressing emotions akin to humans. I would have walked out after 30 minutes if I wasn't with my wife who thought it was "cute".

Exactly, another chance to humanize animals.

Just like the original book and authors intent.

My boys are wanting to watch it, but the previews with a real person and an animated dog just looked weird to me. But I'm sure the wife will take the kids and I'll be drug along

Just go with it man. When they asked what I thought I told them it was good. Was nice to see my wife and girls get into a movie about a different more wild time

We saw it last week. It did not follow the book very closely from many aspects. Also several of the scenes were very, very non consistent with Alaska such as pheasants , large trap set by the front door that sprang when cleaning out the cabin, wild boar etc. etc. To me it demonstrates the amount of lack of reality that they feel they can get away with today in the modern world. I enjoyed London's stories. Many of his short stories are very good as well.
