bernie sanders wants to raise the minimum wage to $15.00 an hour, which makes the lowest full time salary $30,000.00. bernie's poor supporters are excited about this. bernie also wants to dramatically increase taxes on anyone who makes more than $29,000.00 a year to pay for Medicare for all. It's estimated that he would have to tax people making more than $29,000.00 at 52% to get the money to do this, though bernie has not released the numbers. bernie's supporters, who are being bought by the higher minimum wage are to stupid to see that they will be taxed more and actually receive less money, from getting higher wages.

How many people have seen in their area things that are precursors to $15 min wage ?

What I mean by this is kiosks in McDonald's , Burger King and Taco bell where you order your food. Scanning robots in Walmart and supermarkets that take inventory. Self check outs in stores. These are all things to eliminate jobs. This has been going on for a bit. Businesses are prepping. McDonald's is reportedly working on a burger flipping robot. More jobs that can be will be sent to China.

Yep,pretty soon you will order your big mac on a screen, and it will come out of a 3-d meat printer. The printer will have a large hopper of soylent green pellets that only needs to be filled once a year.

Not to nit pick but his plan is 52% for those making over $20,000,000.00. That’s a big difference. From 19,000-77,000 it would be 12%. I’m not supporting him but if you are going to trash someone over the numbers get the numbers at least closer to correct.

Only half of them. The other two thirds don't do math at all.

We were promised that we would all have a healthcare that all Americans would love.
“We’re going to have insurance for everybody,” Trump said in an interview with The Washington Post. “There was a philosophy in some circles that if you can’t pay for it, you don’t get it. That’s not going to happen with us.”

There is still no plan

I understand that. If you read what I wrote, you will see that it was estimated that people making over $29,000.00 would have to be taxed taxed at 52% and that Bernie has not released the numbers yet. Those were the numbers that the economic experts, that the reporters talked to gave. 52% being used twice is probably just a coincidence, but if I could see how if was close they would be tempted to use the same number.

Well, maybe the plan is to take 90 percent of the income of those making over a million dollars per year. That might work too. And there have been times when US income tax rates were as high as 90 percent; tycoons still made their millions, and society didn't collapse.

Sorry, Keith, but you're been caught up by propaganda.

Back then there were huge deductions and loop holes where they didn't actually end up paying anywhere near the 90 percent. If I recall correctly, Reagan got rid of the loop holes when he got his tax rate reduction. It was a trade-off.

Seems like alot of worthless people would rather draw unemployment than work. So I'm sure some businesses are just getting prepared. Always remember " millions on welfare depend on us that work for a living ". I got alot of family that are in there 30's and 40's that have never worked a day in their lives. But i guess at least i know where my tax $$$$ go. Still sad though.

Let me sugar coat this

Raising minimum wage is solely to bring in more tax revenue...
