I drove back home today after my monthly week of working for other people. Now I am mostly on my time again till the middle of March when I get do it all over again. I did take about 5 days of homework with me this time. Have to make a new sail cover for a riding sail of a classic old tug. Some stainless pipe welding and bending for a navigation pod on a sail boat .... a 12 volt fridge that needs fixing as there is nothing made today that will fit the space it was made for ....... but the rest of the time I can spend faffing around on the homestead. Getting a garden prepared, a new head gasket into the tractor, cut some more trails and a couple of food plots, enclose the bow of the boat and build a deck on the side of it somewhat raised so I can park the 4 wheeler under it and store gardening stuff and firewood there as well. Happy days. Ohhhh and post some BS on here in my coffee breaks and when I put my feet up in the evenings. They say the days are getting longer now. I need all the daylight time I can get lol

I made the mistake of leaving the island too early this morning. So I ended up in Columbia at 0745 and Sportsmans warehouse does not open till 1000 so I could not pick up the bullets I wanted to work up some loads for the 223WSSM and some heavies for the 30-06 ...... I guess i'll have to order them online now and pay for shipping instead. On the upside I was home at 1300 with plenty of daylight left to play with the puppy. Not that amazing really .... just put some longish days in at work to get back home with enough money to pay the bills .... then play the rest of the time. Its like being semi retired I guess.
