Ordered a forged screwdriver from a guy in Maine.....told him what I wanted...and he nailed it ! I use this period type screwdriver to open the jaws on my Flintlock...to change the flint.

Sounds like a fair trade for a well made tool. Nice looking scroll work on the grip. That smith do any hawks or blades? I know a couple that do good work, but if it needs an edge I can make a better one out of bone than they can iron.
