Sask Hunter,
Are you doing your shed hunting buzzing the alfalfa fields from your sled, or on foot ?
I know my Alberta buddies use the Snow-Gos to shed hunt the fields at rather high speed covering a lot of ground, and are VERY successful.

I was from my sled. This was a swathed oat field that never got off so the deer are in their thick. I just slowly drive up and down every swath picking up antlers
