It's time to hoard. If Bernie gets elected, we will need every round to fight back with.

I’ll be selling bulk packs at inflated prices for the guys that don’t plan ahead. I’ll be around the corner and the conversation will start with, “Pissssst you wanna buy some ammo?” bulk? you want maximum markup 20 rounds in a sandwich bag for 20 dollars keep the math simple and that is just for 9mm fmj 2 dollars a round for 10 rounds of 223 fmj 308 5 rounds for 20 dollars 50 rounds of 22lr for you guessed it 20 dollars it is all about keeping it at price point , 20 a bag

Desiccant packets only work if they are dry when you put them in the moisture proof container / ammo can. Other wise you are throwing a pack of moisture into the can. Government ammo does not have desiccant pack in it.

Anyone who hoards ammo is nuts. But there's nothing wrong with having an extremely extensive collection. Mike

Anybody have suggestions on where I can buy decent bulk 7.62 x 39 ammo for long storage? Look around for the spam cans. The ammo will last longer than you will.

Anybody have suggestions on where I can buy decent bulk 7.62 x 39 ammo for long storage? depends soem what your looking for you need to find one that shoots fine in your gun Lucky gunner ammo sells a lot from FMJ at around 20-22 cents a round to some soft points at 28 cents a round to some nice re-loadable brass cased at 35-50 cents a round I prefer a soft point so I would be looking at this https://www.luckygunner.com/7-62x39-125-grain-sp-silver-bear-500-rounds#reviews

Desiccant packets only work if they are dry when you put them in the moisture proof container / ammo can. Other wise you are throwing a pack of moisture into the can. Government ammo does not have desiccant pack in it. I was a munitions guy when I was in the AF and I worked in the bomb dump as an inspector. My job was to inspect explosives and that entailed everything from two thousand pound bombs to C-4 to ejection seat rocket motors to small arms ammo...and everything else that went bang. According to the military, most, if not all small arms ammo has an indefinite shelf life if stored under the right conditions. Some of the stuff I worked with at the time was considerably older than I was.
